Youth

At the Vaughan Community Health Centre (VCHC), we offer youth access to a range of services, including primary healthcare, dietitians, physiotherapy, chiropody, and social work. Additionally, VCHC provides social programming, educational workshops, and referral services tailored to youth. These services are designed to help young people develop and enhance life skills such as cooking, interpersonal communication, employment readiness, and civic engagement.

Fall 2017 Programs

THURSDAY PROGRAMS:

Fast and Fresh in 30 Minutes

• Ages: 18-24 years
• Day: THURSDAY
• Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
• Location: VCHC Suite 106
• Date: September 28, 2017

Participants in this workshop will gather in a safe, comfortable setting to learn how to prepare fresh, healthy, and affordable meals in just 30 minutes. The facilitator will also share tips on food budgeting and lead discussions on healthy, quick meal options. Attendees will receive a handout featuring five fast and nutritious recipes.
